Fueled by the hallmarks of the visionary leader Kulapathy A.P.C.Veerabahu with a compelling vision of Education for all , Dr.C.Veerabahu always abides by the principle of non-commercialisation of education. Being strong willed, equipped and passionate in his stream of discipline he commenced his career as an Assistant Professor of Zoology in his alma mater V.O.Chidambaram College. His enthusiasm was a drive for rallying team support enabling him to organise a number of capacity building programs for both faculty and students, INSPIRE funded DST, refresher and awareness programs. Besides mobilising research grants for major research projects from funding agency,he has published three books and also have got research papers presented and published in many national and international journals. Taking the lead as a Principal in June 2012, he always strives to be a bold maverick doing what’s never been accomplished earlier both in the academic and non-academic domains.

He pioneers new possibilities in realms of entrepreneurship, institution innovation, LMS, multi-linguistics, trainings for Chartered Accountancy and competitive exams. Being bestowed with the title of The Best Principal Award 2019 and the Iconic award for excellence and leadership in 2022, he had never failed to be a charismatic leader galvanising teams to provide quality education. This has fetched this dynamic institution A grades consecutively thrice, the 47th position among the best arts colleges as ranked by the THE WEEK magazine and prestigious positions in NIRF and India Today Rankings .
