Dr. C. Veerabahu, Principal of V.O.Chidambaram College bags the Iconic Principal Award for Excellence and Leadership in Education awarded by FAMA ASIA-GCC. ASIA-GCC is a set of prestigious national awards designed to improve quality services in organisations or colleges. The main motive of the of this Award program is to create world class organisations and to bring better quality of services. Awards are given under many categories. Guidelines for each award serve as a framework for quality system and excellence through self assessment and external evaluation. The finalists shortlisted by the evaluation team are invited to give a brief public presentations highlighting their major initiatives and achievements in that field and clarify the doubts of final independent jury. After this the results are announced. Dr. C. Veerabahu has done a lot for this institution’s development in his tenure. Certain criteria like Social Mobility, Ability to Motivate and Inspire, Strategic, Innovation, Integrity and ethics, Services quality were the factors that make Dr. C, Veerabahu a deserving Principal to receive this award says ASIA-GCC.
Our college collaborated on SVEEP ACTIVITIES Programme GENTLA 2021 with District Administration. In order to appreciate our efforts, our Principal Dr. C. Veerabahu has been awarded with the appreciation certificate by our district collector DR.M.SENTHIL RAJ I.A.S in the Independence Day ceremony -2021 for his innovative ideas in implementing the voter awareness in the first generation voters.
Our college collaborated on Voter Awareness Programme with District Administration. As part of this programme, our college had made voter awareness video. Indian Election Commission has selected ours as one of the best voter awareness videos. In order to appreciate our efforts, our Principal Dr. C.
