Prof. J Daniel had served from 1950 to 1980 as HOD and his period could be considered the golden period he established Museum supposed to be the one off the well best Museum in peninsular India and even now it is being appreciated and visited by many people he published 2 textbooks when the college was affiliated to the Madras University the exemplary work of prof. Daniel enthused the management to start the M. Sc Zoology in the year 1986
